LeGrand's Childhood Home in Tooele?

In the fall of 2006 my daughter met a woman at a government office. The woman indicated that her elderly mother had known LeGrand and his parents when they lived in an area of Tooele named Lake View. We contacted the mother, who showed us this house a few days later. Except for the garbage container at the side of the house, it appeared abandoned.

This is apparently where LeGrand lived during the late 1920's and 1930's. Does anyone recognize this place? (Click here for a photo of the home in 1940.)

The house is at GPS coordinates 40.552140, -112.258236 ... On Google Maps, it looks like this:
